    What do I need to start braces treatment?
    The first step is a complete evaluation: I’ll check your teeth, gums, and bite. Usually, we’ll need X-rays and sometimes models or digital scans. It’s also important to make sure there are no cavities or gum issues before placing the braces.
    After my crowns are cemented, when can I eat?
    It’s best to wait at least 1 hour so the cement sets properly. At first, I recommend soft foods and avoiding anything too hard or sticky that same day.
    How long does teeth whitening last?
    It depends on your habits (such as smoking, coffee, wine, or soda). Results usually last between 1 to 3 years, and with good care, even longer.
    Can a broken tooth be saved?
    Yes, in many cases it can. It depends on how severe the fracture is: if it’s just part of the tooth, it can often be repaired with bonding or a crown; if it reaches the nerve, a root canal may be needed. The sooner it’s checked, the better.
    I have diabetes, can I get a dental implant?
    Yes, as long as your diabetes is well-controlled. Patients with good control can safely have implants, with some additional care.
    How long do porcelain crowns last?
    With proper care, they can last 10 to 15 years, sometimes longer. It depends on your oral hygiene, regular check-ups, and avoiding habits like chewing ice or opening things with your teeth.
    What does a deep cleaning involve?
    It’s different from a regular cleaning. It’s done when there’s tartar buildup under the gums and gum disease is present. We clean deeply with special instruments, often by sections, and sometimes with local anesthesia.
